Artesana Mobiliário is a Portuguese company, established in 1986, whose core business lies in the production and sale of furniture and décor across various sectors, including Residential, Hospitality, and Retail. Our mission is to create refined, distinct, and bespoke spaces, centred on our clients' needs and prioritising the development of exclusive pieces. Located in Paços de Ferreira — the European Capital of Furniture — Artesana excels in craftsmanship and quality, championed through traditional hand-production and national manufacturing. To ensure a clear and seamless experience, Artesana offers a dedicated Design and Décor team, experts in developing personalised projects that reflect both soul and singularity.

1986

The company was established by Carlos Manuel Dias Barbosa, dedicated to the craft of furniture manufacturing.

1991

Opening of the first retail showroom. At the time, the company featured a 250 m² exhibition area.

1998

Driven by the growth of the Artesana brand and the market demands of the time, we expanded our exhibition space, leading to the opening of a three-storey commercial showroom spanning approximately 1,800 m².

2004

Artesana opened its second commercial premises in Rua de São Brás, featuring a vast 2,100 m² showroom.

2013

Inauguration of the flagship showroom for the Spanish brand Sia Home Fashion in Paços de Ferreira.

2018

International debut at the ‘Hotel Show Dubai’, where we showcased our exclusive ‘Mirage’ collection.
